Advice you can act on — not a deck you file away.

Most owners don’t need a hundred-slide strategy. They need a straight read on the business, a plan with money and dates attached, and someone who stays until it works. That is what business consulting at KGN means.

What we’re hired to do

01 / SERVICES
01

Business Strategy

Where to play and where to stop. We pressure-test the direction against your market, your capital and the team you actually have — then set two or three priorities worth defending for the year.

02

Financial Advisory

Cash flow you can forecast, unit economics you can trust, and pricing that holds its margin. When you’re raising debt or equity, we get the numbers and the story lender- and investor-ready.

03

Operations & Process

Moving the business from owner-run to system-run. SOPs your team can follow without you in the room, and the few metrics that actually tell you whether today went well.

04

Growth & Market Entry

New products, geographies or channels — sized before you spend. We favour launches that are cheap to reverse: small, measured bets that prove demand before you commit real capital.

05

Restructuring & Turnaround

When cost, debt or structure are working against you. We stabilise the bleeding first — cash, creditors, the org chart — then rebuild on ground that can carry the next few years.

06

Succession & Handover

Passing the business to the next generation, a hired MD, or a buyer. We put governance, roles and reporting in place so the handover is planned — not forced by an event.

How an engagement runs

We start with your numbers, not our template.

The first session is a working one — you, us, and the real books. We’re trying to understand the business as it is, not as the org chart claims. Only then do we put a read in front of you, and sometimes it’s the uncomfortable one.

From there the plan is small enough to start on Monday and sized to the people you have. Every recommendation carries an owner, a date and a rupee figure, so nothing lives only in a slide. We review on a cadence you set, and we stay on the hook until the change holds without us.

What you walk away with

  • A costed roadmap — priorities with money and dates against each, not a wish list.
  • A clear diagnosis — the two or three things actually holding the business back, named plainly.
  • Owners and dates — every action assigned to a person and a deadline you can track.
  • A team that can run it — the systems and habits left behind so it holds without us.

The way we work

02 / METHOD
STEP 01

Listen

A working session with you and the numbers. No recommendations yet — first we understand how the business really earns and where it leaks.

STEP 02

Diagnose

We separate symptoms from causes and put a short, honest read in front of you. If the smart move is to wait, we’ll say so.

STEP 03

Build

A plan with owners, dates and money attached — sequenced so the first wins come early and fund the harder work.

STEP 04

Hand over

We implement alongside your team and stay until it holds without us. The goal is your people owning it, not a retainer that never ends.

Who this is for

03 / FIT
A · SCALING

Between the first crore and the next stage

The thing that got you here — the founder in every decision — is now the ceiling. You need systems, not just more hours.

B · FAMILY

Family-run firms with the next question open

A proven business, a second generation stepping in, and no shared language yet for roles, money and who decides what.

C · AT A FORK

Founders standing at a fork

Raise or bootstrap, expand or consolidate, fix or sell. You want an outside read before you commit the next few years.

Questions owners ask

04 / FAQ
How long is a typical engagement?

A focused diagnosis and roadmap usually runs four to six weeks. Implementation depends on what we find — a pricing fix might take a month, an operations overhaul or turnaround a couple of quarters. We scope it after the first session, in writing, so you’re never signing a blank cheque on time.

Do you work on a retainer or a fixed project?

Both, and we’ll recommend the honest one. A defined problem — a market-entry plan, an investor pack, an SOP build — is priced as a fixed project with a clear deliverable. Ongoing advisory, where you want us in the room monthly, works as a modest retainer. We don’t push retainers you don’t need.

How do you handle confidentiality?

Everything is under NDA from the first conversation, before any books are shared. Financials, customer lists and family matters stay between us. We won’t name you as a client without your written say-so, and we never take on a direct competitor while we’re working with you.

Do you actually implement, or just advise?

We implement — that’s the point. Plenty of firms hand you a report and leave. We stay in the work: rebuilding the process, sitting with the team, adjusting when reality pushes back. Because KGN also builds the software, registers the entity and wires the phones, the plan doesn’t stall waiting on a vendor we don’t control.

First conversation is free and confidential. If business consulting isn’t what you need, we’ll tell you plainly — and often point you to who can help.
